Oracle has aggressive growth plans for our world-leading Cloud ERP software, covering Finance, Projects and Procurement.
To drive this growth we’re seeking a presales Solution Consultant with a deep understanding of Finance and/or Projects, who can advise prospective customers on how our software will modernise their backoffice operations. A consultant who can design a Cloud-based ERP solution that provides business value by improving insight & reporting, modernising business processes & delivering innovation in the form of chatbots, AI, machine learning, blockchain and IoT.
The successful candidate will have significant experience in Finance and/or Projects ERP solutions, a strategic view of the role of ERP and the ability to communicate value at a senior level. Full training will be given in our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions.

• Work with prospective customers to understand their Finance and Project processes. Design a modern solution that meets their desired business outcomes.
• Deliver innovative & memorable demonstrations of our Cloud ERP solution that showcases how it gives competitive advantage.
• Develop competitive knowledge.
• Develop industry knowledge and keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
• Keep up-to-date with ERP solution developments and innovations.
Qualifications
• Experience in ERP Finance and/or Projects software solutions.
• Experience at interacting with customers to design ERP solutions that meet their needs.
• Business Degree or MBA.
• Strong understanding of Accounting principles and practices. An Accounting qualification preferred (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
• Fluency in Dutch and English.

• Experience in ERP Finance or Projects business applications.
• Skilled in presenting and demonstrating to a senior Finance audience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to prioritise under pressure.
• Ability to work as a team, yet work independently on complex problems.

The primary focus of a Sales Consultant (Pre-sales) is to become an expert in a core set of Oracle products and solutions and to present the value proposition and benefits of our solutions to our partners, prospects and customers and internally to our sales force
As a Principal Sales Consultant you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction, through on-line/in person sales efforts. Acts as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Internet Sales Consultants. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions. Develops productivity tools and training for other Internet Sales Consultants. Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions. Support sales team in online/in-person selling efforts. Expert level responsible for formulating and leading presales technical/functional sales support activity for customers, as well as Oracle community development of resources and solutions based on market needs. Approximate percentage of face to face interaction with customers to perform responsibilities is 15%
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 3 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 7 years business experience with relevant computer applications or database/tools. Ability to implement the most advanced product features. Thorough knowledge of system and application design. In depth knowledge of competitors. Demonstrated project management skills. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication. Ability to travel as needed. A/BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable.
